Boot-Stomped Spuds

  • 2/3 cup mashed potato flakes
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat powdered milk
  • 1 teaspoon Butter Buds
  • 1 teaspoon dried cilantro flakes
  • 1 teaspoon onion flakes, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons powdered Alfredo sauce mix
  • 2 tablespoons bacon bits
  • 1 pinch pepper

mix all ingredients together in a ziplock freezer bag and when you're on the trail add 1 cup of hot water to the bag of spud mix and kneed the contents thoroughly until well mixed.
