Hikeset makes it easy as possible to plan backpacking trips.
Hikeset is made in Texas by Paul S., a developer & backpacker, and was created to allow backpackers to share trail knowledge and agendas with others to help plan trips. It started out in non-website form as a way for me to organize my backpacking gear for a trip to the John Muir Trail in 2014. Hikeset was then was dreamt up on the trail, and has been evolving ever since.
We've helped volunteer groups, scouts, and other outdoor enthusiasts organize outdoor backpacking trips for their members by creating tools that make planing trips easier and created a new way of meal planning that cuts down on lengthy planning for backpackers taking longer trips on trails like the Pacific Crest Trail or the Appalachian Trail.
Hikeset is made possible and is great because of users like you. Sharing information with others not only helps them, but other backpackers in the future and you deserve credit for it, so Thank You. Hikeset.com is Also free to use and is supported by ads and donations for most users and we want to make sure anything you share is easily available for others to benefit from as well. If you would like to donate to Hikeset and support development you can use Bitcoins or Paypal and funds will go directly to the author.
